Board of Directors
Bryan E. Glover has previously been involved in community organizing and non-profit management in the field of public health for 15 years. Mr. Glover’s previous stage work includes participating in staged readings of two works by playwright/singer/songwriter Steve Langley as directed by Gregory Ford, “Cut/Uncut” (stage manager/narrator, Kennedy Center, July 2002) and “Billy Be Home Tomorrow” (narrator, Touchstone Gallery, May 2004). In 2006, he was involved for the first time as a co-producer, collaborating with Baraka de Soleil/D UNDERBELLY and multimedia artist Daniel Marcellus Givens for the multi-disciplinary performance work, “First Dark Drama” (Ontological Theater, August 2006). Subsequently, in the fall of that year, working with director Andre Lancaster, he was Associate Producer of “A Love Like Damien’s” (Here Arts Theater, November 2006). In the summer of 2007, Mr. Glover served as producer for the New York Premiere of Under the Spell Production’s “It Goes Unsaid” (Poet’s Den, July 2007).
A proud native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mr. Glover has recently traveled to various places around the world, including West Africa and Central Amerrica for cultural exchange and spiritual growth, and enjoys “Making my contribution to the global spiritual consciousness transformation.”
Andre Lancaster
A resident New Yorker, C. Alexander Smith defines himself as an Artist, Educator, Designer. His body of work has exhibited socio-political acknowledgment for the many marginalized communities in our country. Following the completion of his BFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts he began designing original props and scenic pieces. In his experiences designing he has worked with a number of theatrical, film, television, photography and design organizations; among them Amnesia Wars Productions, MTV Networks, Personal Space Theatrics, Showtime Networks and The Emerging Artists Theater remain the most memorable. When not designing he works as a full-time arts educator inspiring the creativity of adolescents in the Tri-State Area. In this time he secured a MA in Arts Education from Teachers College. Columbia University.
