A festival exploring the diverse possibilities of contemporary American drama and challenging new directions for 21st century black theatre: Deborah Asiimwe's By the Banks of the Nile; Radha Blank's Reverb; Kelley Girod's Poetics of the Creative Process; Katori Hall's The Beyonce Effect; Derek Lee McPhatter's Citizen Jane; Germono Toussaint's The Anointed; and Pia Wilson's A Goddess Once.
